Retinex-Based Relighting for Night Photography

The lighting up of buildings is one form entertainment that makes a city more colorful, and photographers sometimes change this using photo-editing applications. This paper proposes method for automatically performing such changes follows the Retinex theory. theory indicates complex scenes caught by human visual system are affected surrounding colors, Retinex-based image processing uses these characteristics to generate images. Our proposed approach. First, we propose extracting relighting saliency map with edge-preserving filtering. Second, sampling specify area. Finally, composite additional light match perception. Experimental results show successful in keeping illuminated points bright locations equally spaced apart. In addition, various diffusion methods can enhance nighttime skyline photographs expressions. add new considering represent perceptual color.
